Pierce D. Biggs

PIERCE D. BIGGS, 85, of North Little Rock, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2019. He was born October 2, 1933 to the late Odis and Zella (Matthews) Biggs in Scott. Pierce was an ARMY veteran and served in the Korean war. He owned and operated Biggs Appliance Services and then retired from Southwestern Bell (AT&T) after 15 years of service. Pierce enjoyed tinkering with anything mechanical and loved his family. Pierce is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dorothy Puckett Biggs; son, Denny Biggs (Stephen Walls) of Austin, Texas; daughter, Lisa Stout (Aaron) of Blue Ridge, Texas; three grandchildren, Zella Walls-Biggs, David Johnson (Rachell), and Kiefer Stout; one great-grandchild, Lucian Johnson; and sister, Joyce Henry of Plumerville. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd, North Little Rock, Ark. 72116. Burial to follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at noon. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
