Roy V. Gregory

Roy V. Gregory, age 91, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2019, at Willard Walker Hospice in Fayetteville. He was born on February 19, 1928, in Dutton, Arkansas, to James and Dona (Jones) Gregory. He is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 60 years, Frankie (Acord) Gregory; three brothers, Ezekiel Gregory, Bill Gregory and J.L. Gregory; three sisters, Emma Jean Gregory, Dorothy Barnett and Oza Mae Weir. Roy was a mechanic by profession and spent his career at American Can Company. He was also a member of IA&M. He is survived by his daughter, Pam Corter and husband Jeff of Springdale; his son, Randy Gregory and wife Patty of New Jersey; one sister, Nola Dean Dixon of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Aaron and Nicole Sivage of Springdale, and Tyler Gregory of New Jersey; two great-grandchildren, Tanner Sivage and Stormy Reynolds; sisters-in-law, Norma Gregory of Camden Point, Missouri, Merle (Acord) Dinsmore of Bella Vista, and Frances Edens of Fayetteville. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2019, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Interment to follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
