CHARLOTTE ANN HUNTLEY, 92, of Jacksonville, passed away April 11, 2019, at her home. She was born December 14, 1926, in Concord, N.H. to Roger and Edith Strong. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Russell Huntley and son, Gary Huntley. Charlotte loved to bowl and travel. She had a generous heart and was known and admired as a giving person. Charlotte worked as a bank teller and later promoted to bank loans. She taught Sunday school at many churches and was a member of Christian Church of Jacksonville for many years. Charlotte was founding regent of the DAR Major Jacob Gray Chapter in Jacksonville starting with only 13 people and has grown to 72 today. She also helped her husband build Modern Chemical Incorporated, an International Company. Charlotte was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by daughter, Nancy Burger and husband Larry; son, John Huntley and wife Joanne; brother, Roger Strong; 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be Friday, April 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. and a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 20, at 10:30 a.m., both at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills in North Little Rock. Interment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
