Jerry Dyke

Jerry Mia Dyke, 90, of Elkins passed from this life in peace on April 10, 2019. He was born February 23, 1929, in Thompson, Ark.; to Simeon Briggs and Mary Elizabeth Kennedy Dyke. Jerry is survived by loving companion, Patricia Dyke; and his six sons and daughters-in-law, James and Terri Dyke of Huntsville, David and Sylvia Dyke of Las Vegas, Nevada; Michael and Shelly Dyke of Moab, Utah; Douglas and Teri Dyke of Elkins; Matthew and Mary Dyke of Macclenny, Fla.; and Jerry and Amanda Dyke, II, of Elkins. He had eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and was dearly loved by nieces, nephews, and many other close relatives and friends. The family will receive friends 10-11 a.m., Monday, April 15, 2019, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory in Huntsville. Funeral Services will begin at 11 a.m., with Reverend Jasper Hankins officiating. Interment will immediately follow services at Mount Olive Cemetery in Elkins. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
