Charles R. Uekman

Charles R. Uekman, 81, of North Little Rock passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019. He was born August 31, 1937 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Theodore and Clara Uekman. Charles was a lifetime parishioner of St. Anne's Catholic Church. Charles is survived by his children, Kathy (Darren) Dunn, Charles R. "June Bug" Uekman, Jr., Mark S. (Diane) Uekman; grandchildren, Kristy (Chris) Schrichfield, Matthew Fortenberry, and Tyler Uekman (Jessica Mitchell); greatgrandchildren, Willow, John-Mark, and Ash; brothers, Ed Uekman, Eugene Uekman, Robert (Kay) Uekman; and sister, Jo Ann (Jerome) Mushinski; several nieces and nephews and other extended family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Laverne Pauline Payne Uekman, parents, and brother, Herman Uekman. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Uekman family pertaining to funeral expenses. A visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon followed by a Funeral Mass at noon Thursday, April 25, 2019 at St. Anne Catholic Church, North Little Rock, Arkansas.
