Garnet Henderson, 77, of Springdale, passed away April 25, 2019 in Springdale, Ark. He was born April 21, 1942 in Wayton, Ark., the son of Robert and Faye Henderson. He was a graduate of Deer High School in 1961. He served in the Army National Guard after high school. He moved to Springdale in 1965 and worked for Whillock Mfg. for 25 years. He owned Henderson Upholstery in Springdale for 30 years. He was a member of Springdale United Baptist Church. Garnet was a loving father and faithful friend. His passion in life was playing music and hanging out with family and friends. He had an infectious laugh that brought joy to so many he encountered through out his life-he will truly be missed by all. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Mary Lou Hamm, and one brother, Roy Earl Henderson. He is survived by two sons, Richie Henderson and Ryan Henderson of Springdale, two daughter-in-law, Lisa and Kela Henderson of Springdale, five grandchildren, Haley Bettcher and husband Nathanial Bettcher, Holiday Henderson, Mekena Henderson, Ty Henderson, Dylan Henderson of Springdale, one sister, Glenda Casey, one brother, Sonny Henderson of Wayton. His beloved girlfriend, Donna Keeland, her daughter, Michelle Black, husband Aaron Black, son, Alex Black, daughter, Taylor Stamps, husband, Austin Stamps and daughters, Michelle Harrell and Valerie Pittman. Pallbearers are Brock Henderson, Bradley Waters, Cody Waters, Aaron Black, Hal Hicks, Scott Hicks and Steve Hicks. Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday April 28th at Coffman Funeral Home, 410 W. Court St., Jasper, Ark. 72641. Memorial Services will be held 10 a.m, Monday April 29th at Wayton United Baptist Church, Pastor Bobby Young will be officiating and Jerry Spurlock will be reading the obituary.
