Rose Mae Riedel

Rose Mae Riedel of Quitman passed away on August 1, 2019 at the age of 78. She was a homemaker and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and community volunteer. She was a Christian and a member of South Cross Roads Community Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Teddy Riedel; her mother Mary Propes; two brothers, Millard Payne and William Propes; and one sister, Sarah Gilbert. She is survived by her daughter, Priscilla Riedel-Cohan and husband Steven of Houston, Texas; son, Daniel Riedel of Cabot; bonus son, Chris Harcrow of North Little Rock; grandson, Mark Lester of Arvada, Colorado; sister, Phillis Watkins of Bald Knob; brothers, J.C. Barham of Louisville, Illinois and John Paul Propes of Bald Knob; aunt, Eloise Bolding of Memphis, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Gale Queen for the care and compassion shown to our mother over the past year. She made Mom's days very special. A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at 2 p.m. in South Crossroads Community Church with funeral services at 3 p.m. by Rev.
