Robert Louis Shelton passed away on Friday, August 2, 2019 at his home in North Little Rock at the age of 78. He loved fishing, gardening and going to Oaklawn. He worked for Brown Construction Company for 40 years.
He is survived by his best friend and partner for 37 years, Missie Chambers and her son, Logan Kaplon (Barbie) of Burlington, Wisconsin; son, John Wambaugh (Nancy) of Muskegon, Michigan; daughter, Andrea VanVleet of Ashland City, Tennessee; sister, Nell Schafer of Carlisle, Arkansas; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews and friends.
A visitation will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 7, 2019, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Park. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com.
