Frances Bailey, lovingly known as Tancy, age 89 of Fayetteville was born on July 5, 1930 to Arthur and Mamie Bailey in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Frances attended Braden School and Fayetteville High School, graduating in 1949. After graduation, she accepted a job with McNair Cravens Insurance Company where she was a loyal employee for over 60 years, retiring in 2014. She was a member and officer of the American Women's Insurance Association. Frances was known for her love of fashion and animals. If you saw her walking around the Fayetteville Square, she would stop to share stories of the Bailey farm, her pets and her family. Frances was preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law Dr. Benny Winborn. She is survived by her sister Mildred Bailey Winborn, her nephew Brent Winborn (Joe) of New York, New York and niece Susan Heil (Eric) of Fayetteville; her two great-nephews Wes Palmer (Sujin) of Rogers and Ben Heil of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and great-niece Mary Grace Heil of Fayetteville. Visitation for Frances will be held 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. Thursday August 8, 2019 at Moore's Chapel. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Moore's Chapel with burial to follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dr. Benny A.
