Dolores J. Buffington

Dolores J. Buffington, 85, of Little Rock, died August 12, 2019. Born in Russellville to James and Jessie Jones Smith, she was a member of Oak Forest United Methodist Church. She taught elementary school in the Little Rock Public School System and was a member of the Association of Retired Teachers. She is survived by her sons, Blake Buffington of Mabelvale and Mark Buffington of Little Rock; sister, Mary Wentz of Rockwall, Texas; former husband, Dewey Buffington of Mabelvale; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Doyle Britton Smith and R.L. Smith. Services will be Sunday, August 18 at 3 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct.
