Mary Dorothy Moring

Mary Dorothy Wortman Moring, 91, of Rison died Thursday August 22, 2019. Born October 7, 1927 at Will's Point, Texas, she was a daughter of the late Lee Roy Wortman and Missouri Bell Hough. She was a homemaker and a member of Kingsland Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings. She is survived by her husband of 75 years, Harlan Moring of Rison; two daughters, Mary Ann Franklin and her husband, Gene of Kingsland, Carol Oglesby and her husband, Tom of Edmond, Okla.; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday August 24, 2019 at Kingsland Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Kingsland Cemetery. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
