Earl Eugene Gooding

Earl Eugene "Geno" Gooding, was born on November 6th 1949 in Wichita, Kansas to Earl and Rosa Tackett Gooding. He was married to Darlene Gooding for 50 years. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and a dump truck driver. He loved going camping, hunting, and fishing with his sons and grandson Mark. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed watching Western movies. He was very proud of his kids and grandkids. He lived on the family property for 62 year. He loved telling jokes, and stories of when he was younger. He was a very proud man. He was preceded in death by: his parents; Earl and Rosa Gooding, two brothers; Tom and Gary Gooding, and one sister; Deanna Gors. He is survived by: his wife; Darlene Gooding, of the home, two sons; Ronnie and his wife Angela Gooding, of Fayetteville, Jimmy and his wife Amber Gooding, of Lincoln, one daughter; Rebecca "Becky" AKA: Sis, and her husband Craig Stilwell, of Farmington, six grandchildren; Cecille and Anthony Doss, of Johnson, Taylor Stilwell, Alex Stilwell, Mark Gooding, Zack Gooding, all four of Farmington, Jaylin Gooding, of Houston, Texas, three step-granddaughters; Chelsea Ellison and Rickie Sams, both of Fayetteville, Rayleigh Montez, of Lincoln, he also had two great-grandkids; Tanner and Mallory Doss, of Johnson, also he was awaiting the birth of his other great-granddaughter; Paisleigh to be born soon. Visitation will be Thursday from 10-11 a.m. at Fayetteville Freewill Baptist Church. A celebration of Geno's life will begin at 11am at the church. Interment will follow at Ledbetter Cemetery located in Japton. Memorials may be sent to: The American Heart Association. Arrangements by Epting Funeral Home Fayetteville.
