Barbara Jean Grant

Barbara Jean Grant, 72, of Fayetteville, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2019 in Fayetteville. She was born August 5, 1947 in Manila, Arkansas to Myron Everett and Betty Lee Landers Thomason. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Otho Glenn Grant. Barbara was a homemaker. She enjoyed the casino, watching old movies, playing cards and listening to country music. She loved her grandchildren. She is survived by three sons, David, Daniel and Michael Grant, all of Fayetteville; a daughter, Debbie Combs of Fayetteville; two brothers, Ernie Thomason of Greenland, Arkansas and Everett Thomason of Missouri; two sisters, Kathy Mounce of Lowell, Arkansas and Linda Worford of Greenland, Arkansas; two grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, December 6, 2019 at Beard's Chapel with Pastor Don Warford officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
