Raymond Duane Langston

Raymond "Duane" Langston, age 66, of Sheridan, Ark. passed away on Thursday, December 5, while being surrounded by his loving family. Duane fought a valiant battle with cancer. Duane was born on July 2, 1953 to Raymond and Opal Alene Langston in Benton Harbor, Mich. After graduating from Watson Chapel Academy, he continued his dad's legacy at Langston Construction. He was a hard worker and spent many years perfecting the trade of pouring concrete. Duane was an avid outdoorsman and honorary member of S & J Hunting Club. He loved hunting, fishing, was a big NASCAR fan and #1 Razorback fan. He also loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Duane was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, David. He is survived by his son, Jared Langston and his wife, Hayley, of White Hall; daughter, Jenica Clement and her husband, Martin of Sheridan; sister, Mary Hulse and her husband, Donnie, of White Hall; sister Lana Langston of Dardanelle; four grandchildren, Maycey Langston, Aiden Davis, Riley Davis, and Nash Clement; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Monday, December 9, 2019 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan. Graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. at Fitzhugh Cemetery in Pine Bluff.
