Bonnie Opaline Burr

Bonnie Opaline Burr, 85, of Bentonville, Arkansas passed away Monday, December 9, 2019 at Apple Creek Health and Rehab in Centerton, Arkansas. Bonnie was born on June 16, 1934 in Bentonville, Ark. to Huber and Ruthie Edwards. She is survived by her son, Jerry Bertschy and wife, Rosie of Pineville, Mo.; one daughter, Connie Cavness and husband, Jon of Bentonville, Ark.; one brother, Dick Edwards and wife, Zelma of Tulsa, Okla.; three grandchildren, Jeri Smith and husband, Brandon, Justin Cavness and wife, Tammie, and Jeremy Bertschy and wife, Andrea; and six great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Huber and Ruthie Edwards; her husband, Richard Burr; and one grandson, Jason Bertschy. A visitation for Bonnie will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2019 from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Chapel in Springdale, Ark. The graveside service will be held Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Dug Hill Cemetery in Bella Vista, Ark. at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Cure Alzheimer's Fund in honor of Bonnie.
