Rose Marie Mays, 73, of Sherwood, passed away November 30, 2019. She was born September 19, 1946 to Joseph and Martha Dooley. She was a member of Sylvan Hills First Baptist where she taught children's Sunday school and faithfully served in the nursery.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Bro. Charles L. Mays; children, Tammy Mays Hernandez (George) and Kimberly Mays Hemund (Chris); grandchildren, Jacob Pate, Hannah Pate Bernstein (A.J.), Taylor Noles, Andrew Hemund, and Emily Hemund; siblings, Martha Ann King, Frances Nell Montgomery, and Linda Faye Messer; aunt, Frances Ekes; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Robert Edward Dooley and Joseph Muriel Dooley.
A visitation will be 10:15 a.m. on Friday, December 13, 2019 with Funeral Service following at 11 a.m. at Sylvan Hills First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. Online guestbook at www.smithfamilycares.com.
