Gerald Lee Johnson

Gerald Lee Johnson, 75, of Greenland, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2019 in Springdale. He was born June 24, 1944 in Rock House, Ark. to Georgie and Ruth Clarke Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Georgie and Ruth Johnson and two brothers, Charles and Eugene Johnson. Gerald was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was owner/operator of Gerald Johnson Trucking. He enjoyed antique cars, car racing, riding his Honda Goldwing motorcycle and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Linda Allred Johnson of the home; three sons, Shawn Johnson and wife, Amy of Springdale, Joshua Johnson and wife, Holly of Springdale and Beau Johnson and wife, Amy of Soledad, California; a daughter, Tara Phillips and husband, Jeremy of Johnson, Arkansas; three brothers, JayDee Johnson of Napa, Idaho and Dale and Dwayne Johnson, both of Berryville, Arkansas; two sisters, Sharlon Harwood of Springdale and Glenda Newberry Scott of Berryville, Arkansas; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2019 at Beard's Chapel. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Beard's Chapel.
