Henry Nolan Cearley

Henry Nolan "Bud" Cearley, 82, of Sheridan, passed away from this life Saturday, December 14, 2019 at UAMS. He was born June 13, 1937 in Grapevine to the late Monroe and Willie Reynolds Cearley. Bud was reared and educated in Grapevine. He served in both the US Airforce and the Army National Guard. After his service, he worked at International Paper for over 39 years, working in the finishing and shipping department. He was an avid Razorback fan, and loved playing pool. He also loved camping with his family and friends. Also preceding him in death was his first wife, Lajuana Downs Cearley, who passed away in July 15, 1980; 3 sisters, Mary Rosemond Stover, Vestal Hatcher and Paulette Freeman; and his grandparents, Mattie and Elmore Cearley and Gilbert and Fannie Reynolds. Bud is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sandra Sanderson Cearley, whom he married May 13, 1994; two daughters, Kathryn (Shane) Watson and Stacy (Jody) Barnes; four grandchildren, Kalyn (Wade) Garrett, Haylee Barnes, Dueal (Catie) Watson and Lane (Hailey) Watson; one great-granddaughter, Embree Watson; one sister, Betty Nell Taylor; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, December 19, 2019 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son with Bro. Mack Milner and Bro. Brian Brock officiating. Burial will be in Ramick Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Willie McKinney, Jody Barnes, Shane Watson, Charles Wayne McKnight, Barry Gentry, and Richard Parker. Honorary pallbearers will be Wade Garrett, Dueal Watson, Lane Watson, Kenneth Kier and Randy Kimball.
