Clarence Lee Kiersey

Clarence Lee Kiersey of Springdale, Arkansas entered his rest on December 7, 2019. He was born on April 21, 1938 in Booneville, Arkansas to Willard Iven Kiersey and Susie [Vaughn] Kiersey. He married Luvinia Acuff in January 1982 in Springdale. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Walter Kiersey of Booneville and Ivan Kiersey of Springdale; three sisters, Liz of Paris, Arkansas, Agnes Schradar and Rosie Biggs of Booneville, Arkansas; one grandson, one granddaughter and one great-great-grandson. Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Luvinia of the home; two brothers, Chester Kiersey of Booneville and Lawrence Kiersey of Banks, Arkansas; one sister, Virgie Kiersey of Booneville; one son, Jerry Kiersey of Springdale; three daughters Debby, Ronda and Linda; two step sons, Williams(Bill) Marten and James Willard (J.W.) Marten and wife Edna all of Springdale; two step-daughters, Mary Jane Neal of Missouri and Pamula Underwood and husband Mitch of Springdale; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Clarence is a member of the Jehovah Witness. His desire was to tell others about Jehovah and His purpose for us and the new earth. Memorial service will be held at the Springdale Kingdom Hall at 1738 Pinewood Rd. on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 1 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home.
