Donald Neal Isham

Donald Neal Isham, 82, of Springdale passed away Monday, December 16, 2019 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born August 4, 1937 in Clovis, New Mexico to Norman Neal and Lillile B. Gunnels Isham. Donald graduated from Eastern New Mexico University, with a degree in business. He moved to Springdale from Texas as a claims adjuster in the late 60's. He became a State Farm Insurance Agent in 1975 until he retired in 1998. He enjoyed the game of golf , and competing and winning numerous tournaments. His Biggest enjoyment was pairing and golfing with his beloved Noon Group of Guys everyday. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Norma Louise Haley, Margie Thurman and Verna Lee Ayres; one daughter, Deborah Lee and one son, Robin Isham. Survivors include his wife, Sue Carol Byars Isham of the home;; one daughter, Carol Jane Phillips of Tontitown, one step daughter, Vicky Sue Smith and husband Rick of Alabama; one step son, Andy Lee Venable of Springdale, two brothers, J.T. Isham and wife Sue of New Mexico and Pete Isham and wife Caron of New Mexico; one sister, Mittie Jo Moore of New Mexico and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
