Sandra Ashcraft Galloway

Sandra Ashcraft Galloway of Sheridan, Arkansas was born March 29, 1947 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Derward C. and Frances Mitchell Ashcraft. She was a member of Lost Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan and a 1965 graduate of Mabelvale High School. She had retired from Arkla Gas in 1998 and was presently employed at McCoy-Tygart Drug Store. Sandra was a vibrant, Christian woman who enjoyed life and singing for her Lord. She loved cats, fishing, and going to gospel singings. She never met a stranger and had a community of friends. Her smile and love will be missed by all. Sandra died Monday, December 16, 2019 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 72. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Don Galloway. Survivors: brother, Michael "Mickey" and wife Kathy of Sheridan; sisters, Kay Berry of Katy, Texas and Kitty Smith of Sheridan; fiancé, Winston Winston of Sheridan and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews that she adored and considered her "own children". Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kenneth Click officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Steven Ashcraft, Ben Smith, Todd Smith, Drennon Scott, Shawn Lafferty and Kyle Coleman.
