Ethel Alberta Garrison

Ethel Alberta Terwilliger Garrison of Bald Knob passed away with grace and peace with her family on December 17, 2019, at Unity Health - White County Medical Center in Searcy, Ark. Born on February 09, 1927, in Hickory Ridge, Cross County, AR, and raised in Fisher, Poinsett County, Ark. Alberta was a devoted and loving mother, Christian, and a long-time member of the Bald Knob Church of Christ. She was survived by sons Winfred Wayne Garrison (Cynthia) of The Woodlands, Texas, Randy Allan Garrison (Donna) of Jonesboro, Ark., and Terry Dennis Garrison (Rhonda) of Augusta, Ark.; daughters Barbara Elaine Garrison O'Brien of Dallas, Texas, and Cheryl Suzanne Garrison Weber of Cabot, Ark.; grandchildren April Elaine O'Brien Mullen of Bellingham, Wash., Zachary Lance Garrison (Tiffany) of Kenosha, Wis., Kyle Matthew Garrison (Brandi) of Jonesboro, Ark., Katie Lenee Garrison of Batesville, Ark., and Breanne NaCole Wheeler Easley (Matt) of Bradford, Ark.; step-grandchildren Melissa Dawn Spence of Richmond, Texas, Sabrina Angelique Browers of Conway, Ark., Damon Paul Spence (Tisha) of Violet Hill, Ark., and Amy Jo Pool-Bonaparte (John) of Conroe, Texas; great-grandchildren, Lucas Sage O'Brien Strah of Seattle, Wash., Avery Runyan Garrison of Kenosha, WI, Damien Alexander Ramsey of Pleasant Plains, AR, Melody Harper Ramsey of Pleasant Plains, AR, Donovan Zaine Gonzalez of Pleasant Plains, AR, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Barrett Garrison of Jonesboro, Ark., Bexley Suzanne Easley of Bradford, Ark., and Everleigh Hope Easley of Bradford, Ark.; step-greatgrandchildren Damon Paul Spence, Jr., Hayden Alexander Browers, Lexie Leigh Spence, Mya Bonaparte, Jade Bonaparte, Emie Bonaparte, and Tristan Bennett Spence; one step-great-great-granddaughter; sister, Clara Terwilliger Kieffer; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased in death by her loving husband Winfred Barney Garrison in 2002; her parents William Thomas Terwilliger and Alice Lee Sanders Terwilliger; brother William O'Neal "Bill" Terwilliger (Dona Faye); sisters, Edith Alice Terwilliger and Joy Rowena Terwilliger Sample Weaver (Leroy); half-brother William Henry Terwilliger; and half-sisters, Bessie Marie Terwilliger and Dorothy Mae Terwilliger Grimm (Ted). Visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 21 from 1-3 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Bald Knob with services to follow at 3 p.m. Cremation arrangements entrusted to Powell Funeral Home Bald Knob-Judsonia. www.powellfuneralhome.net.
