Nancy Ann Gregory

Nancy Ann Gregory, 84 of Carlisle, Ark., passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at CHI St. Vincent in Little Rock. Nancy was born in Carthage, Mio., on October 10, 1935 to Guy and Catherine Nearing. She was raised in Joplin, Mo., where she graduated high school. She attended Joplin Jr. College and the University of Arkansas, where she was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority. Nancy was employed many years at Merle Norman in Carlisle and a member of Carlisle First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Gregory was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Gregory; daughter, Sarah Hart and son-n-law, Jed M. Powers. She is survived by daughters, Sally Gregory and Susan Powers; grandchildren, John Powers, Dinah Powers, Scott Hart and Molly (Chase) Broyles; great-granddaughter, Vanessa and son-in-law, Doug Hart. The family has requested in lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of Nancy be made to Carlisle First United Methodist Church. A memorial service in Carlisle will be held at a future date. Mrs. Gregory will be cremated with burial in Carthage, Missouri later in the spring. Arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
