Winfield Francis Poe

Winfield Francis Poe, 91, of Gravette, Ark., died Feb. 1, 2019. He was born Jan. 22, 1928, in University Park, Iowa, to Pearl Perry Poe and Myrtle Brown Poe. He was a member of Church of God Holiness in Gravette, Ark. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Laura F. Poe of Gravette, Ark.; two sons, Theodore Poe (Janice) of Hiwasse, Ark., James Poe of Hiwasse, Ark.; two sisters, Ethel Curtis of Promise City, Iowa, Mary Thompson of Ava, Mo.; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. A service for Winfield will be held Monday, Feb. 4, 2019, at 11 a.m. at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark. 72715. A graveside will immediately follow at the Hillcrest Cemetery, 401 Cemetery N.W., Gravette, Ark. 72736. Visitation will take place the day before on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2019, from 3 to 5 p.m., also at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel.
