Mary Ann Hardy

Mary Ann Miller Hardy, 93 of Pea Ridge, Ark., passed away on Feb. 5, 2019 at Ashley Health and Rehab in Rogers, Ark. Mary Ann was born in Pea Ridge on September 26, 1925 to Ralph Miller and Frances Mae Webb Miller. Mary Ann was married to Charles W. Hardy on July 9, 1942 in Pineville MO, and was preceded by Charles on June 9, 2005. Also, preceding Mary Ann are her parents and her brother, Charles Huntington Miller. Survivors are three sons, Gary G. Hardy and his wife Joyce of Lexington, S.C.; D. Joe Hardy of Washburn, Mo.; Scott W. Hardy of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; six grandchildren, G. Shawn Hardy and wife Stacy, C. Eric Hardy, Kristopher Hardy and wife Stefanie, Dawn Hardy Mounce and husband Bryan Mounce, Wesley Hardy, Elizabeth Hardy Sturges and husband Kenny, eight great-grandchildren, Hanna, Chloe, Alyssa, Townsend, Tallulah, Valla, Shepherd and Adrienne. Mary Ann was a 1943 graduate of Pea Ridge High School. She lived her entire life as a resident of Pea Ridge. She was a wife, a homemaker, and a mother. She worked at an early age in her fathers packaged drug store in downtown Pea Ridge, as well she later worked for Munsingwear, Phillips Grocery, and Emerson Electric. She was a lifelong member of the Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church of Pea Ridge. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Service is set for 2 p.m. Monday, February 11 at Sisco Funeral Home Chapel in Pea Ridge. Arrangements are under the direction of Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge and interment is in Pea Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, February 10 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church of Pea Ridge, 1300 N Davis, Pea Ridge, Ark. 72751.
