Betty Jo Morrisett Burney Kannady

Betty Jo Morrisett Burney Kannady, age 93, passed away Monday, February 4th, 2019, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Betty was born to her parents Homer and Pauline Morrisett on August 16th, 1925 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Betty was a school administrative assistant and a member of Central Church of the Nazarene. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Pauline Morrisett, her sisters, Wanda (Bill) Chandler and and Monte Turley, her brother, Homer Jr. Morrisett, her first husband, Murrel Burney, and her second husband, Melvin Leroy Kannady. Betty is survived by her sister-in-law, Martha Morrisett of Claremore, Oklahoma, her step-daughter, Beverly Woodward and her husband Larry of Fayetteville Arkansas, her step-grandsons, C. Scott Woodward and his wife Robin of Rogers, Arkansas; Brad Woodward and his wife Lisa of Farmington, Arkansas.
