Gussie Lynn Thornton

Gussie Lynn Thornton, 74, of Rogers, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Mercy Medical Center located in Rogers. She was born August 12, 1944 in Los Angeles, California the daughter of Gussie May Faris and Henry Maltis Crowe. Gussie was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Deva Crowe and her brother Guy Crowe. Survivors include her youngest sister, Peggy Castagna and Peggy's husband Tim, and her two nephews Michael and Matthew Castagna and their families. She enjoyed her great nieces and nephew, and loved to spend time with them. Her love for all animals was ever present, and everyone knew of her love of cats. She treasured her relationship with Jesus and wrote several poems about that. A celebration of Gussie's life will be held at The Lodge, at Fellowship Bible Church, Pleasant Grove Road, Rogers, at 1pm on Friday, February 22. Interment will be at Bentonville Cemetery.
