Grady James Benson

Grady James Benson Jr., age 88, of little Rock. He passed away February 9, 2019 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Survived by his wife of 65 years Sally Benson of Little Rock; a daughter: Marcy Wood of Little Rock, and a son: Jim (Sharon) of Fort Smith; four grandsons: Derrell Wood III (Amanda) of Rolland, Jake Wood of Little Rock, Michael Benson (Jessica) of Southaven, Miss., Jonathan Benson of Orlando, Fla.; our great-grandchildren. He was born August 21, 1930. In Pine Bluff Arkansas to Grady and Latishia Benson. Mr. Benson worked at Timex for 34 years as a production control manager. He was an avid fan of the Saint Louis Cardinals, the Dallas Cowboys and all things Razorback. He was Preceded in death by his parents, a brother: Ronnie Benson, and a son: John Benson. The Visitation will be held at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. there will be a funeral service on Thursday February 14, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth Chapel.
