Paul Brice Veasman, died on January 31st, 2019 at the age of 59 in Diamond City, Arkansas. Paul is survived by his wife Kay Hollingsworth; his daughters, Amanda (Ted) Ross of St. Robert, Missouri and Amy Veasman of Oklahoma City; his sons, Brandon Veasman and Travis Veasman of Dixon, Missouri; his step-sons, Chance (Corie) Hollingsworth, of Little Rock and Gabe (Cady) Hollingsworth, of Fayetteville; and many grandchildren. Paul was born on September 23rd, 1960 in Missouri to the late Lawrence "Bud" Veasman and Wilma (Lawson) Hatchel. Paul started his career at Tan Tara Golf Resort under the direction of Fred Brewer. He was hired in 1990 by the Harrison Country Club to take on the responsibility of superintendent. Over the thirteen years at the Country Club Paul returned the course to playing respectability. Paul's passion for his job lead him to a successful career in the landscaping business with his wife Kay. In his spare time, Paul enjoyed spending time outdoors, whether it was playing golf, fishing, or hunting. He was always the first to lend a hand, help a friend in need, and could always be counted on. Paul will be missed by many family and friends who loved him dearly. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, and his sisters, Connie Allen and Betty Wagoner. Contributions in memory of Paul may be made to the Hospice of the Hills in Harrison, Ark. or the Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, Ark. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Harrison Country Club on Saturday February 16th, at noon. Condolences may be left online at www.holtchapel.com.
