Larry Dean Nance, age 59, of Kensett, died Tuesday, February 19, 2019 in Searcy. He was born April 1, 1959 to Dovie Ann Young. He is survived by one son, Warren Dean Nance of Sherwood; one daughter, Taija Nance of Jacksonville; three step-daughters, Akeira Baker of Jonesboro, Myra Stalling of Nashville, Kaysha Wilson of Nashville; one son-in-law, Jermaine Powell of Jacksonville; five grandchildren, Londyn Oni Nance of Little Rock, Anthony Dorhan of Jacksonville, Jermaiya Powell of Jacksonville, Jermeria Powell of Jacksonville, Mikeilyn Howell of Jacksonville; one brother, Kenneth Turner and wife Susan of White Hall; one sister, Donna Roland of Jacksonville; girlfriend of 22 years, Kay Richardson of Kensett; and former wife, Alice Faye Nance of Sherwood. He is preceded in death by his mother, Dovie Ann Young; daughter, Alanna Powell; three grandchildren, Darius and Jarius Romes, Jabarei Nance; great-nephew, Kamani Buchanan; and grandparents, Roy and Irene Young. Visitation will be Friday, March 1, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 2, at 10 a.m. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Crow Cemetery.
