Mary Kathryn Parker

Mary Kathryn Parker, age 73, of Dardanelle died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018, at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born April 26, 1945, at Russellville to the late Clayell and Laura Thompson Hunter. She was of the Pentecostal Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Jean Bookout, Jimmie Finchum; and one brother, James Hunter. Survivors include her son, Douglas Parker and wife Kim; two sisters, Wilda Baker, Doylene Christy; two grandchildren, Phillip Moore and wife Darra, Steven Moore and wife Robin; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019, at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Russellville Animal Shelter, 3115 South Mobile, Russellville, Ark. 72802.
