Bobby Morgan, age 88 of Little Rock, Ark. passed away on December 22, 2018, at the Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton. Bobby was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma, to Origen and Katherine Bingham on July 14, 1930. After graduating high school at age 17, she attended Oklahoma College for Woman where she graduated in 1949. She furthered her studies at the University of Arkansas a Fayetteville (1950-1951), and the University of Arkansas Medical Center (1951-1952). She earned her Masters degree at the University of Arkansas Medical Center (now UAMS) in 1972. She was a member of the American Association of Blood Banks and the South Central Association of Blood Banks where she served as a State Representative from Arkansas. She was president of the Arkansas Society of Medical Technologists, (1958-1959), and also served on their Board of Directors for many years. Bobby was the supervisor of the UAMC blood bank until her retirement. Bobby enjoyed fishing, reading, kitting and board games, but her passions were contract bridge and caring for and enjoying time with her family. Bobby is preceded in death by her parents, Origen and Katherine; husband, Paul and her son, Paul Kem Morgan. Bobby is survived by her two sisters, Nancy Brewer and Dorothy Shemwell and their families; her son, Jay Morgan and wife, LeeAnne and their two daughters, Hannah and Emily; her daughter, Kay Morgan Steiger and husband, Mike and their two sons, Joe and Josh and her daughter in law, Elena and her daughter, Ericka Morgan and her great-grandson, Levi. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Roller Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark. (501) 224-8300.
