Ada Jean Searfoss

Ada Jean Searfoss, 78, of Judsonia passed away on Jan. 11, 2019. She was born on March 2, 1940, in Little Rock to the late Joseph L. Box and Gabriella Tenpenny Simmons. Ada was a member of River of Life Church in Searcy. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Alice Faye Lemiere; and granddaughter, Melissa Searfoss. Ada is survived by her son, James (Phyllis) Searfoss of Alexander; brother, Joseph L. Box of Searcy; sister, Aline Scarborough of Judsonia; grandchildren, Natasha Halbert, Hannah Barnett and Rachel Jones; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Lacy Halbert and Rilee and Rhett Barnett. Pallbearers will be Allen, Gary, Ronnie and Keith Scarborough, Michael Halbert, and James Stapleton. Graveside services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 15, with Pastor Keith Thomlison and Pastor Carl Medley officiating at Pine Crest Cemetery.
