Janis Sue Brower Zachary

Janis Sue Brower Zachary, 74, of Bella Vista, Ark., passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019 in Concordia Nursing & Rehab in Bella Vista. She was born January 29, 1944 in El Reno, Okla., to Oscar Thomas Brower and Lillie Margaret Giles Brower. Janis married the love of her life, Thomas Ralph Zachary on January 22, 1962. She is survived by her two daughters, Leslie Zachary of Fayetteville, Ark., Meredith Tinney and husband, Keith of Krugerville, Texas; one son, Matthew Zachary of Bentonville, Ark.; eight grandchildren, Morgan Walls and husband, Drew of Huffman, Texas, William Waller of Austin, Texas, Dakota and Hayden Tinney of Krugerville, Texas, Daniel Curtis of Rogers, Ark., Aaron, Wyatt and Gracelyn Zachary of Bentonville, Ark.; one sister, Mary Margaret Easley of Colcord, Okla.; sisters-in-law, Linda Brower of Duncan, Okla., and Mary Sayre and husband, Steve of El Reno, Okla., and many other loving nieces, nephews and family members. Janis's great loves were her family, her faith, and especially her eight wonderful grandchildren. She was an avid reader and loved cooking, knitting and sewing for her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Tom; parents, Oscar and Lillie; brother, Thom Brower; and brother-in-law, Russell Easley. Memorial services will be at 10:00am, Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Cross Church in Rogers. Burial will follow at 2:00pm at Easley Family Cemetery outside of Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
