James T. Posey Jr.

James T. Posey Jr. age 71, of Benton passed away on Monday January 14, 2019. He was born December 11, 1947 in Limestone County, Alabama. James was owner of Posey's Garage and Auto Repair in Benton for 31 years, an active member of the Downtown Benton Business Owners Association, the Benton Chamber of Commerce and was a US Navy Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, James T. Posey Sr. and Frances Aday Posey, and a sister Linda Lewis. Survivors, wife of 47 years Wanda J. Posey, Benton; son, Justin Posey (Mary) Benton; sisters, Edith Walsh, Royal, Arkansas; Jodi Martinez, Florida; and his loving dog, Biscuit. Visitation will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers family request everyone bring a written note of your favorite Posey memory for a family memory book.
