Bill (Bud) Ray Stonesifer, 65, of Farmington, died suddenly at Washington Regional Medical Center on January 19, 2019. Bill was born to Ray and Marjorie Stonesifer on November 5, 1953 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray and grandparents. Bill attended West Fork High School. He worked at Bear Brand Hosiery; the Washington County Jail as a jailer; Walmart; Washington Regional Medical Center; and later started his own home repair business. He made many friends during his life and he cherished all of those friendships. Bill loved being outdoors. One of his greatest joys was being able to go to the family farm with his dog Petie and work on his project list. Later, when the grandsons shared his passion, he loved mentoring them on his farm projects and farm repairs. He loved his family and was a wonderful and loving son, brother, husband, father and PaPa. Bill will be greatly missed by his family. He is survived by his mother, Marjorie; his wife, Janice of 26 years; two daughters, Tracy Sargent and Lauren (Matt) Irwin; his three grandsons, Hunter Sargent and Noah and Kaleb Irwin; his three sisters, Donna (Gilbert) Bloyed, Patricia Cater and Betty Stonesifer; three nieces; one nephew; and great-nieces, nephew and cousins. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2019 at Beard's Chapel with Chaplain Charlie Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Baptist Ford Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Beard's Chapel. The family wishes to thank the physicians and staff at Washington Regional Medical Center involved with Bill's care for their support and care.
