Lanney D. Johns

Lanney D Johns, surrounded by his family, went to be with the Lord on January 22, 2019. Lanney was born January 6, 1951 in Newport, Arkansas to Rex and Velma Johns. Lanney worked in the water works industry for over 40 years making many lasting friendships across the country. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Kem Johns and one sister, Diane Woolly. Lanney is survived by his wife, Cheryl of the home; two sons, Brandon Johns of Springdale and Justin Johns of Panama City Beach, Florida; one sister, Jeanne Cole and husband Michael of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; one brother, Rex Johns and wife Barbara of Jonesboro, Arkansas. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Online condolences may be left at www.siscofuneral.com.
