Loomis G. Bright

Loomis G. Bright, 94, of El Dorado, passed away, Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House. He was born March 25, 1924 to Garland and Autry Mae Easterling Bright in Prescott, Ark. Before his retirement, he was the plant manager for Columbian Chemical Company. He was a Mason and a member of the First United Methodist Church. Preceding him in death are his parents; and a brother, Robert Cummings (R.C.) Bright. Survivors include his wife, Linda Bright of El Dorado; four children, Patty Davis of Mounds, Okla.; Kevin Bright (Martha) of Broken Arrow, Okla.; Andrew Mayfield of El Dorado; Elizabeth Mayfield-Hart (Charlie) of North Little Rock; two grandchildren, Holly Bright; Trent Davis; three great grandchildren; a sister, Ann Bright McCoy of Bastrop, La.; and a sister-in-law, Jean McGee Bright of Monroe, La. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. David Bush officiating. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Young's Funeral Directors. Memorials may be made to the John R.
