Janett Marie Williams

Janett Marie Williams, 84, of Hampton, died Saturday, January 26, 2019. She was born October 14, 1934, to Louie and Arnett Ables. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles Hugh Williams, brother Earl Ables, and sister, Charlotte Dorey. She is survived by daughters Judy Rogers of Houston, Texas, Linda (Carl) Harrell of Little Rock, sons Chuck Williams of Hampton, and Roger (Melanie) Williams of Locust Bayou, four brothers and sisters, John Ables and Murl Ables of Hampton, Rev. Jerry Ables and Shirley Cook of Camden, seven grandchildren, Amber Rogers and Ross Rogers of Houston, Texas, Mike Harrell of Searcy, Ryan Harrell of Maumelle, Brittany Williams of Gentry, and Austin Williams and Heather Williams of Locust Bayou, and four great-grandsons, Aidan, Logan and Elijah Harrell and Brayden Meadows. Janett was a homemaker and loved cooking for her family, who could not wait for her mac and cheese, chicken and dressing and lemon ice box pies. In summer, she would always can fresh vegetables from the garden. Janett enjoyed old movies, Westerns, and the Hallmark Channel. She was a faithful Christian who loved reading her Bible and was an inspiration to everyone around her. Visitation with the family will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at First Assembly of God Church in Hampton with funeral services following at 2 p.m. Memorials can be made to Victory Church, 1283 U.S. 278 Business, Camden, Ark. 71701.
