Verna J. Weaver

Verna J. Weaver, 87, of Vilonia, Ark., went to be with the Lord Sunday January 27, 2019. She was born July 17, 1931 in Vilonia, Ark. to R.L. and Ella Teague. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Loyce Teague, sisters, Hazel Wharton, Helen Barnes and Irma Matthews. Left to cherish her memory is her loving family, her husband of 68 years Voyne D. Weaver, sons, Roger (Vicki) Weaver and Randy (Jerri) Weaver, grandchildren, Nathan (Amber) Weaver, Nick (Whitney) Weaver, Elizabeth (Daniel) Stave and Randi Michelle Weaver. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, Bryson, Emma, Beckett, Norah, Solomon, Evy and Silas, brother-in-law, Olen Barnes and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Verna was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Vilonia. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was also a great cook and talented seamstress. She taught Sunday School for many years and served as a leader in Bible Study Fellowship in Conway. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Vilonia. Visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m., prior to the service. Burial in Vilonia Cemetery.
