Betty Lou Galloway

Betty Lou Galloway, 88 of Fayetteville passed away Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born April 17, 1931 in Cato, Oklahoma to Floyd and Jewel Parkhill Gilliland. Betty owned and operated Century Twenty One Galloway Realty for over twenty years. She loved to quilt, spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren and she enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune. She was a member of Faith Regular Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Maurice Galloway, one son, Steve Ray Galloway and one sister, Jimmie Plumlee. Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn Simon of Florida; three grandchildren, David Dassero, Brenda Pope and Bridget Ward, six great grandchildren and two brothers, Ernie and Bud Gilliland both of Porterville, Calif. Funeral services will be Friday, July 19, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with Pastor Gary Jewell officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery.
