Julia Mae Hicks, 81, of Beebe, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on July 24, 2019. She was born to the late Howard and Latishey Hall on January 1, 1938 in Hazen, Arkansas.
Julia was a Godly woman of great faith. She enjoyed puzzles with her husband Robert, painting and art. Julia's greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and other family.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Jimmy Benton, brother, Dewey Hall, sister, Helen Chadwick, and stepson, Robert Michael Hicks. She is survived by her husband, Robert Hicks; son, Howard (Kim) Benton; daughters, Patti (Drew) Droptiny, Deborah (Randy) Latham, and Donna (Matt) McCollough; 11 grandchildren, Jaxson, Josh, Shawn, Christopher, Stacey, Matthew, Aaron, Faith, Bruce, Stephanie and Sarah; and numerous great-grandchildren, as well as a host of family and friends.
Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday, July 27, 2019, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home. www.smithfamilycares.com.
