Peggy Jo (Drake) Pike, A memorial service for Peggy Jo (Drake) Pike will be held at the Circle of Life Hospice Center in Bentonville Ark. Sunday July 28th 2019 at 2 p.m. (1201 NE Legacy Pkwy, Bentonville , Ark., 72712.) Peggy entered the gates of heaven on July 26, 2019 at the Circle of Life Hospice Center. Peggy was born December 20, 1939 in Southwest City, Mo., and was the first child of John and Goldie (Seabourn) Drake. Peggy graduated from Grove Oklahoma High School, Class of 1958. After graduation, she married Kennith Pike of Gravette, Ark., on October 3rd, 1958. Kennith was in the army that first year where Peggy patently waited on his return. They would have celebrated 61 years of marriage this coming October. Kennith and Peggy made their home in Diamond Bar, Calif., where they operated a construction business for many years. It was there they welcomed two sons Leslie and Lance Pike. They then moved to Redmond, Wash., where they ran a successful horseboarding farm where Peggy became an accomplished equestrian rider and showed pleasure horses, winning several awards. They then moved back to Arkansas where they settled to raise their family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, Jerry, Robert and John. Two Sisters, Linda and Deborah. Surviving in addition to her husband Kennith, two sons Leslie Pike and Lance Pike of Decatur, Ark. Surviving sisters, Betty Tapp of Corning, Calif., Sharon Tapp of Jay, Okla., Twila Harvey of Ponca City, Okla., Donna Friday of Ethete, Wyo., and Carol King of Southwest City, Mo. one brother Randy of Farmers Branch, Texas. She is survived also by three granddaughters Ashley Pike, Misty Frye, Lonna Pike, three grandsons Wade Pike, Ryan Pike, Leslie Pike and 10 Great-Grandchildren.
