Joe D. Jordan

CMSTG (Ret.) Joe D. Jordan, age 83 of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away on May 27, 2019. He was born August 31, 1935 in Delhi, Louisiana to George D. and Opal Jordan. Joe D. graduated England High School in England, Arkansas in 1954. After working several jobs, he enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1956. His 27-year career is something he was very proud of. Following retirement, he spent another 13 years in Civil Service as the Hospital Plant Manager at F.E. Warren AFB in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He married his high school sweetheart, Nadine Evans in 1954. Their marriage of 63 years proved to be a great one. Joe D. was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed RV'ing which led to enjoyment of avoiding Wyoming winters by traveling to the southern states and then returning to Wyoming for the summers. He is survived by his daughter, Julia Jordon of Cheyenne, Wyoming; sister, Tena Johnson of England, Arkansas and brother, Danny Jordan of Largo, Florida. Joe D. was proceeded in death by his wife, Nadine Jordan, his father, George Jordan and his mother, Opal Jordan and sister, Peggy Teeter of Kansas City, Kansas. A memorial service will be conducted on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Roller England Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Tomberlin Cemetery. Online guestbook: www.rollerfuneralhomes.com.
