Radell Robertson

Radell Robertson, 88, of Springdale passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2019 in Avenir Memory Care in Fayetteville. He was born January 6, 1931 in Mulberry, Arkansas to Troy and Minnie Robertson. He married Marie Smith in January 1950 and they were married just short of 60 years before she passed away. He is survived by one daughter, Karen Pease and her husband Billy of Springdale; one son, Duane Robertson and his wife Diane of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Kim Tollett and husband Scott of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Keith Harmon and wife Jackie of Springdale, Bridget Barnes and husband Dan of Argyle, Texas, Georgia Davis and husband Jason of Haslett, Texas, Jessica Schaffner and husband John of Edmond, Oklahoma and 16 great-grandchildren, Kinzi, Cade and Carson Tollett, Alex and Miles Harmon, Eli, Beaux, Eden and Shepherd Barnes, Gracie, Lyla, Walker and Deacon Davis and Gray and Ezra Schaffner; one brother, Lynn Robertson of Mulberry, Arkansas; one sister-in-law, Wanda Davis of Russellville, Arkansas and many nieces and nephews. Radell moved to Springdale in 1955 to open and manage Wise Radio and Tv (Wise Electronics) where he worked for 40 years until he retired in 1995. After retirement he enjoyed fishing and working in his yard. He was an honorary charter member of Temple Baptist church for 30 years and then a member of Cross Church for 30 years. He was a faithful adult and youth Sunday School teacher, choir director, deacon and servant of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He was a kind and gentle man who will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be Friday, June 7, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Cross Church Springdale with Pastor Keith Harmon and Charlie Foster officiating. Burial will follow in Bluff Cemetery.
