Elna Ann Reid Throgmorton

Elna Ann Reid Throgmorton, age 87, of Mineral Springs, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 in Nashville, Arkansas. She was born June 28, 1931 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas the daughter of the late George A. and Lois Riley Reid. Mrs. Throgmorton was a member of the Helena First United Methodist Church in Helena, Arkansas. She was an elementary school teacher in the Helena-West Helena Public School District. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenburn L. Throgmorton, a daughter, Beverly A. Throgmorton, and one sister, Meredith Reid Harrelson. Survivors include one daughter, Kathy Jones and husband Ben of Mineral Springs, Ark.; one son, Jim Throgmorton of Jonesboro, Ark.; two granddaughters, Molly K. Throgmorton and Meredith R. Lancaster and husband Zach all of Fayetteville, Ark. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until service time, Saturday, June 8 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home 508 Plaza, West Helena, Ark. 72390. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, June 8 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Helena, with Bro. Ben Jones officiating, burial to follow in Masonic Cemetery in Pocahontas, Ark.
