Thomas Franklin Green

On Thursday, June 6, 2019, Thomas Franklin Green, loving father and grandfather, passed away at age 83. Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Louise, his son, Tony, and his brothers, Oliver and Robert. He is survived by his three children, Teresa, Tommy, and Timmy, his sister Clara, his mother-in-law, Nellie, eight grandchildren, 17 hreat-hrandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Thomas had a very large loving family. Thomas was born March 28, 1936 in Boyle, Mississippi to Tom and Essie Green. He married Mary Louise Teas September 26, 1959 in Houston, Texas. Thomas never met a stranger. He was known for his quick wit and his kind and compassionate spirit. He loved to bird watch, fish, camp and tell stories. A Masonic Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2019, at Mayflower Cemetery in Mayflower, Ark., at 1 p.m. Pallbearers will be Tommy Green, Timmy Green, Chris McClain, Toby Davis, Jacob Thomas, and Josh Thomas. Honorary Pall Bearers are Bobby Teas, Aubrey Thomas, Lucas Bradley, USMC Staff Sargent George Bulcken IV, Ryan Green and Andy Green.
