John Henry "Jack" Evans

John Henry (Jack) Evans, 85, of Little Rock, a child of God, arrived in the loving arms of God on Sunday, June 9, 2019. Jack was born in Kansas City, Kansas, attended school in Joplin, Missouri and Ponca Military Academy, graduating in 1952. He graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1955, was commissioned in the Army, and served one and a half years in South Korea as First Lieutenant. Jack was preceded in death by his parents Owlsley and Odelia Evans. He is survived by his wife Nancy, of 45 years, children; Todd Evans, Lori Neppes (Brian), Scott Wilson (Tracy), and Jennie DeColores (Miguel). Grandchildren are Sienna, Alivia and Christian Evans, Liam and Jessie Selvey, Cara Jan Wilson, and Mendy Wright. He was blessed with six great-grandchildren. Jack was a retired drug representative and worked in Arkansas for 30 years. His hobbies included fishing, gardening, and was an avid Razorback Fan. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Trinity Presbyterian Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Rubel Funeral Home. www.ruebelfuneralhome.com.
