Peggy Bryant Tolliver, of North Little Rock, passed away June 7, 2019. She was born January 11, 1939, in Vilonia, Arkansas, to Bessie and Ennis Bryant. Affectionately called GG by her grandkids and great-grandkids – she was known by everyone for her big beautiful smile. Peggy met Jim Tolliver in a cotton patch in Vilonia. Jim chased her for a long time, unable to catch her. One day she decided that she had better slow down for him – the rest is history. She spent the last 61 years making a house a home that was always open to everyone. Peggy devoted her life to her husband and their two children. Peggy retired from Oak Grove Elementary after 31 years and then spent her time with her husband running the family business. Customers always say they have never seen a prettier face in an auto body shop. Her style was legendary and perfectly put together from head to toe – every day. It comes as no surprise that her favorite hobbies were taking walks with her husband and shopping. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, and her brother, Alex Bryant. She is survived by her husband, Jim Tolliver of North Little Rock; her sister-in-law, Edalyene Bryant of Mountainburg; her daughter, Cindy Patrom (Kevin) and her son, Jimmy Tolliver, both of North Little Rock; also, 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren all of North Little Rock. Peggy was a lifelong member of Fuller Chapel Primitive Baptist and lover of the Lord. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roller McNutt in Conway with funeral services to follow at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 12th at 1 p.m. Committal will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway. Her online guestbook is available at www.rollerfuneralhomes.com. To our Lord who holds the stars – into Your arms she lives forever.
