Branimir Bakalic

Branimir Bakalic, age 71, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2019 in Fayetteville, AR. He was born on March 22, 1948 in Belgrade, Serbia to Jovan and Kathryn Bakalic. Bane came to the US in 1972 and met Barbara in 1977. They were married in 1979. He owned a Screen Print Business in NYC for many years and did commercial art and illustrated children's books. He was a passionate sportsman and enjoyed country living upstate New York as it reminded him of his families' home in Bosnia growing up. He loved to joke and tell stories, and there were a lot of stories. He was a good friend and loved his family deeply. He is preceded in death by both parents, brother, Misa Avramovic and a sister, Mira Avramovic. He is survived by his wife; son, Scot Fisher of Tallahasse, Fla.; daughter, Briana and Jason Kohlbrenner of Syracuse, N.Y.; brother, Nicola and Jasmina Bakalic of Belgrade, Serbia; grandchildren, Codie Fisher and Lyra Kohlbrenner; great-granddaughter, Natali, and many nieces and nephews.
